The Dreamer and The Stream

Dare to drink straight from the stream?
I was born in the western culture into Catholic Christianity family.  Since childhood, I was very attached to nature and often went into day dreaming trance, sometimes hearing voices calling my name.

I was fascinated by the people we call Saints and their devotion to God.  Growing up, I started questioning my cultural beliefs.  Teachers thought I was naughty and later a revolutionary dreamy child asking stupid questions.

Reaching the age of 12, I was put into the Seminary on advice from the village priest who saw a great potential in me for priesthood.  However, it never crossed my mind and I continued searching and praying.

I started learning the Occult, Hinduism, Buddhism and then Sufism and Islam.
I also studied the Gnostics and critical studies about the Bible.
I saw them as different departments underneath which flowed the sacred golden stream.
Each religion taught about the stream but I wanted the stream itself.

I never wanted to be a disciple of Jesus… I wanted to be him.  I never wanted to be a disciple of Buddha…I wanted to be Buddha (Awakened) myself.
I prayed in churches and in temples as well as in mosques but the real HOLY place I found each morning by the sea, waiting for sunrise and communing with the SOURCE.
I had found the Golden underlying stream which feeds each religion and daily I drink from it and bathe in it.

They were seeing me dancing without being able to hear the music and so they call me crazy…they call me mad…they say I am a dreamer…
Just throw away your unwanted baggage, your burden, and remember what peace there is within you.
But first you have to AWAKEN to the reality of your burden…your unwanted baggage…

Are You Clinging Onto an Outdated System?

It's easy to write positive motivational things and affirmations to repeat daily. There are many “gurus” out there on the internet offering re-packaged 'solution' and I must say that most of them are done NOT out of compassion (to say it plain and simple) but out of business mentality to suck $$$ from the person who is already feeling wretched.

It is very easy and most charming when people start posting these quotations around.  Yes, indeed, it is easy to write these things and even believe in them when you've got a job, can pay your bills, feed your family, when you've been treated fairly, haven't been the victim of horrific physical, emotional, and verbal abuse from others.

But if you HAVE been a victim of any of those things, these motivational affirmations and quotes seem...well...unrealistic and unimportant.  Hard to feel gratitude and "Dance!" when you can't even buy food.

There is much to say about this.
First thing is that having all the positive things in life does not mean one is happy and satisfied.  It does not mean one is free from many other deep fears and concerns.

The second thing is that this reasoning is outdated and void.  The main problem is that many still cling to this type of beliefs and definitions and as we say, knowing that you do not know is the beginning of wisdom.
Why do many still cling to their outdated comfort zone?
Why do they prefer to stay in there and not move on?
The answer is that they are not yet ready, not yet spiritually strong enough to move.

It is only by breaking loose of the many religious and traditional belief systems that we start to ask about life.
It is only when we start to become aware of the interplay of life and so called ‘death’ that we awaken.
Then we will realize the play and roles we all choose to play here in this life and that it is OK.
Then it will dawn on us that the ones whom we call miserable and wretched—according to the outdated belief system—are the ones really who are spiritually strong.
They are the ones teaching others about compassion and love.

Therefore, the opus is not on the poor and wretched ones but on the well to do person who needs to learn how to share and have compassion.
Missing this lesson, the person must repeat it until he/she gets it.  The wretched person, on the other hand, could have chosen that life to learn too and more importantly, to show others what they lack in their hearts, that is love and compassion.

The Writings on Our Walls

I remember singing with mum the song " Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die" and we would laugh...

There is so much suffering in life, being unloved or rejected is the main one.
Terminal Sickness and then those who miss their loved ones who passed away.
This is all part of life.

The worst that can happen to us is to die.
That for me calls for a celebration.
I would be free from all pain and sadness.
U N L I M I T E D.
Able to meet my soul group and would still be connected to the loved ones down here, while  having the understanding of the game called LIFE.

There is only LOVE and LIGHT.  That is how we are supposed to relate with others.  All other things like jobs and money are only props in this role-play.

I feel so grateful for many things.
When I am grateful for each breath that I take and for each heart beat, what more can I ask for?
When I am grateful for who I AM and my state of Being-ness, what more do I look for?

I feel this inner compassion for the suffering of others...for their fears...born from ignorance.
This sounds like a bit of an ego from my side but you know what I mean.
The belief systems that people have and to which they fight for to safeguard...the writings on their inner walls...traditions...religions...family rituals and beliefs, etc.

Even though we know this is all a play, a script each of us wrote, still I feel compassion for the suffering. maybe I shouldn't, I know.
Even though I know we choose our life and our sufferings and that it is only a playing act, still I feel compassion.

I feel I am helpless that I want to send them vibes...light and Love and yet it all depends on them really, like it all depends on me as well to be happy and healthy.

All is illusion and writing this I am feeling Billy Fingers here with me telling me it is all a play within a play...so? Do we do nothing?
